Day One... and Here we Go!

Well, the flights were great! Portland to Chicago was a little bumpy at times but I had a good nap in there. The Flight from Chicago to Munich was long but actually not bad. So I thought I had a seat on the side of the plane for just two people. It turns out I had an asile seat in the middle which worked out perfectly beacuse the two seats next to me were not full! (the middle row has four seats, so someone sat on the end.) It was nice because I laid down on my side and slept for a good amount of time. I did accidently kick the guy next to me but he was asleep and probably thought it was the plane. oops!
I traveled with two girls, Heather and Lisa. They are fun to travel with and very SAFE! When Heather and I landed in Chicago Lisa was there waiting for us. We then had a three hour lay over so we had dinner at Chili's (which still has kept me full.) We walked around the airport and then bought a Rocky Moutain Pecan Chocolate Bear Caramel Apple. VERY TASTEY!

But Enough with the flights let's talk about the good stuff.

Kelly picked all three of us up then we drove to downtown Munich to have lunch at the Hofbrauhaus! OH YEAH!!!!!!!!!!! It was awesome. Of course there was Germans drinking beer and singing drunken songs. In my opinon the best way to start off a Germany Trip! Kelly talked about some traditions Germans have here and funny facts. I really enjoyed my time even though I was already full from Chili's.
Once we were done we drove to Regensburg where our hostile is. It's nice. Right now there are about 30 girls from (i'm guessing) the ages 10 to 14. They are a little loud but I must admit I envy the way they speak their beautiful language.
I'm am trying to pick up phrases here and there, all I have to do it make them stick. I'm still getting to know everyone that I am going to be traveling with for these three months. We seem like a great group.

Well I don't want to keep you here reading too long so I will end for tonight and write more tomorrow.
